Comments | I waited patiently while the game is loading, for it`s the first and only entry for the time being. I watched the pixels fill the screen, then all this waiting ruined by next part of loading as it prints the program information over loading screen. I say this is a great start for a a crap game competition.The title screen is very descriptive of what`s going on. As I understand it`s a clash between golden tokens of hope and Math Goblins, as expected, totally unrelated to the game :)It`s a pacman clone with a math question at the end. It is this year`s first entry, but it`s already very crap game :) Only downside is it`s unbelievably slow. I will follow this entry to see if it picks up and sweet bellas.Wait, one last thing, the loader is broken and loading stops with an error message. Type RUN to start game after loading. |

Comments | "What is that?" was my first response. Too many good information to be ashamed of not knowing. Blast terminal library used on zx spectrum, 42 column geneva mono font, spiffy, bast the tape linker, and those were all for a peg solitaire game?The object of a game is to move all soldiers (yellow ones) to the blue upper side by jumping one over another. But, as every crap game, Ay Chip was so saturated doing the technical parts, the game itself ends up crap. He even put (q)uit key, and also 5th line in the upper field but everyone knows only 4th line is possible to reach with your tiny yellow soldiers.And loading screen text is not centered.I have mixed feelings about crap factor of this game but it's a worthy addendum to the cgc2012 for sure! |

Ok, we know most of them are done by melbourne house in 1982, but, I'm still impressed by the technology behind it(ok, andrew, I know ulaplus is not invented by australians). This little game came with a bonus: full source code.In functionality, this piece of software is a tool. If you are an undecided type, this tool promises to help you. It guides you to find a theme for your crap game. The tool thinks my pony idea is gay, and cow is already covered in cgc2011. Damn, I should start from scratch now, my pink pony game was almost ready.I'll be waiting for someone to use this tool and code a game based on it's recommendations.I can sense some crapness about it but only an essence. And it will definitely not going to win the compo because it's kind of uncrap. |

Ofcourse all of the effort was for almost nothing.But along the listing I found some color codes and repeated listings that supposed to sound funky when loading the game, but the game provided as SNA?!I I had to save the game, and load it from tape to check if it does what it promises. (FAIL. Not funky at all.) |

Comments | I\'m actually waiting to see the \"advanced\" version of this game. The title poem is really sets up the mood, and make us ready for reaching the fuel. The King is fickle, I\'m not sure if he really wants to help the poor man. The game look like crap, but in reality, it\'s not. Solid gameplay, responsive controls, strict and simple rules, Good King Wenceslas Simulator 2012 may even lose the compo. The only bad part is the \"agent\" factor. We cannot be a part of the game, everything is depend on the King (well, as it should be?). Thank you Spud for bringing me so many questions. |

Comments | Well this game uses one of the best tactics of crap gaming, which is a vertical scrolling provided by ROM. This facility often exploited by crap game designers, which actually makes the game un-crap, because of vivid full screen scrolling.But, Andy managed to make even this crap, with my help of doing crap graphics. it looks like horace is heading to a jungle with thousands of trees, and keys are utterly unresponsive. I'm not sure this time horace will stay in this jungle forever.Excellent crap game, you won't even want to try it again after you hit a tree. |

Comments | OK, I rolled a thousand times (really fast game it is), and I somehow managed to dive very centre of the pool, I even send the $9.99 to author, but again I just scored 7. The witch with pink hair always gave me a 7, whatever I do, I think she just hates me.I am surprised because apenao almost got it this time. Very playable game apart from needlessly fast responsive controls. The game is already hard, you try to match the figure shown at the table, while falling down(diving) to the pool. It\'s crapness score is a bit low, because game is ultra-responsive, graphics are nice and animations are surprising.I\'ll watch this entry for sweet bellas, I\'m sure it\'ll get many mixed feelings. |

Description | In this third part of the Volos series, you are in control of Cowthilde who has been appointed to become a "rescuow". That means she is used to rescue people from the caves.Once Cowthilde is put into movement, she will keep going until she hits one end of the screen. At the right side, there is a person waiting to be picked up. Once he is picked up, guide Cowthilde back to the left side and a point of score will be awarded.To make it more difficult, Volos the bull god is back into the game. He moves back and forth at the top of the screen and suddenly will make a dive downwards. Fortunately there is a set of bricks that will prevent him from hitting Cowthilde, but for each time Volos hits a brick, it will be removed. Eventually there won't be any bricks left, and Cowthilde won't have anywhere to hide for Volos.You have a total of three cows. When you have lost the last life, you get a score summary and the chance to play again.Movement is as follows:O = Initiate movement leftP = Initiate movement leftAny other key will make Cowthilde stop where she is, which can be a useful way to wait for Volos to make his dive before moving on.If you think this game is a bit slow, it is recommended to be run on a 33 MHz ZX Spectrum or better. Or an emulator that can be boosted to 10X. |

I wish this was a two part game, which you switch positions being you and sonny's mom, avoiding incoming rain of shits.Thanks na_th_an for giving us privilege of shitting on somebody's X.By the way, the games uses input area in use by using streams to write there. Which is a interesting approach in basic games, I can argue of it's necessity, but it looks nice. |

Comments | I'm comparing this game with Daley's Supertest, although it lacks swimming and cycling part.So as most important sport is swimming, supertest is failing to win in this comparison. Normally I am very good at sports games -on the contrary of real life-, and in this game I aced. Comments | We got another reaction game here, which has all the basic principles of reaction games: You react to something hopefully very fast.This time it's a long beep. Sadly I'm very determined to leave a message after a beep, this time I had to press a key. And I did. In the past I also wrote a reaction game, and I'm very potent on pressing keys.What this game brings new to the genre is "the theme". Olmypics makes it's way into to the game too, as you get gold, silver and bronze medals after you react :)Not bad, it lacks originality but it has different approach to a already established genre. Comments | Trying to find Sebasic IV was already good challenge for me, so I tried to delete first line of the program then check the output. I think this makes this program's real purpose, as I try to figure out who it is in the ascii art, I remember my childhood memories of manually deciphering (with my eyes half closed) encoded adult channels on SAT. I never managed to figure out what's on that channels anyway, it was grey lines of ciphered pr0n.Same thing goes for 32x24 mode of Chev's program. In the end, I had to cheat and take a look at the supplied screenshot to find out that person is Sir Cl.. wait, you have to find it yourself!Low crap score because of technical achievement of 64 column mode. |

Description | This game is entirely in Swedish, more precisely a home cooked dialect of Wermelandia. In brief summary, the game is about finding the secret island hidden somewhere in the river. This is accomplished by shining three kids of lamps onto the river:"A" shines the big lamp. You have a total of 5 of those lamps."B" shines the medium lamp. You have a total of 5 of those lamps."C" shines the smallest lamp. You only have 3 of those lamps.The two bigger lamps will give a rough estimate where to find the island, while only the smallest lamp will exactly point it out.You can also send a sonar to scan for the island by pressing "D". You have an infinite number of sonars, but those are quite inexact and will indicate both where there might be an island or some big fish.When you have found the island or have run out of lamps, the game is over.Greetings to Gustaf Fröding. |

Comments | This game is looks like a very fine canditade for next host, but it actually is very very crap. Why? it's almost impossible to lose. I tried to lose a couple of times by hitting M key strategically, but nothing changed. I in the end I always win, and I will gather so much money, I had to reset speccy all the time.Graphically it's impressive but gameplay is very close to non-existant. And this is what we seek in a crap game! Hurray! |
